The current supply chain for bulk logistics market is unnecessarily costly and frustratingly time consuming with multiple handlings between a variety of transport and storage vessels.
The increased risks and the associated costs from multiple conveyances and lagging demurrage delays elevate expenditures on product deliveries. Furthermore, dangers of cross-contamination and comingling of products exist, placing companies at risk of losing valuable market share with their customers within their industries.
Greenbox allows customers to minimize unnecessary handling time and cost by providing a seamless system that delivers secured, high quality product, from suppliers to users in a single, intermodal device.
Greenbox containers are certified by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the international Convention for Safety Containers (CSC) through the International Maritime Association (IMO).
Greenbox containers can be carried on tri-axle or sliding chassis. Additionally, empty units can be carried on flat-top trucks. A standard PTO (Power Takeoff) blower unit will be required to unload the material contents on our pneumatic units.
Four Greenbox containers can be aligned end to end on an eighty five feet (85’) flat car; or four containers can be placed onto a one hundred and ten ton well car if the containers are double stacked. Association of American Railroads (AAR) certification is currently pending.
A Greenbox container, built to specification under International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with certification from American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and an anticipated certification from Association of American Railroads (AAR), can be placed on cargo ships, railcars, and tractor trailers, as an intermodal container.
Greenbox containers are designed to be stacked up to 8 units high, eliminating the need for expensive silos and warehouses during transport.
With Greenbox, bulk materials are loaded at the origin, sealed, and never opened or imperiled until their destination, minimizing the risk of loss and the exposure to contaminants.
Greenbox provides a singular solution to many of the market’s current problems.
